Dr. Glenn D Madokoro M.D.

Dr. Madokoro attended Stanford and majored in chemistry.  He received all his post-graduate training at UCLA, including attending medical school and training as an intern, resident, and fellow.

He has served twice as chairman of gastroenterology at Hoag Hospital.

Dr. Madokoro spends the majority of his time searching for polyps and was documented to find the most polyps per patient of any gastroenterologist at Hoag Hospital by a wide margin. 

The accuracy of Dr. Madokoro’s colonoscopic examinations has also been confirmed independently by the national GI database and benchmarking site, GIQuic, which was established by the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy.

Dr. Abhay S. Parikh is the head of the Newport Coast Gastroenterology center. He obtained his medical degree at the Southwestern School of Medicine and completed his residency at the University of California.

After undertaking his Gastroenterology Fellowship at UCSF, he struck out on his own, and the Newport Coast Gastroenterology center is the result.
