Shawn Kaye, MD
A Southern Californian native, Dr. Kaye is thrilled to return home to serve his community as an internal medicine physician. His choice to pursue medicine was inspired by watching his mom undergo and beat a serious medical condition when he was young. This left a lasting impression on him as he realized the critical role he could play as a physician.
He focuses on providing an individualized approach to patient care. As Dr. Kaye states it best, “I believe it is important to partner with my patients and understand their specific situation in order to provide the best care possible. Through this collaboration, we can build a plan together.”
Dr. Kaye is board certified and received his medical degree from the University of California, Irvine where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and completed his residency at Stanford University. With a focus on preventive medicine, he is currently accepting new patients and welcomes adults age 18 and older.
Outside of work, Dr. Kaye enjoys playing guitar, surfing, swimming, hiking, cooking, and spending time with his family.

Inspired by her physician father to pursue a career in medicine, Dr. Yanni is a rarity in California: a dual-trained specialist in pediatrics and internal medicine, meaning she can treat a patient through their entire life span.

She’s excited to be a founding member of Hoag Medical Group because she is passionate about being at the forefront of medicine and she is impressed with the way Hoag doctors and staff members treat their patients. Dr. Yanni comes to Hoag from Loma Linda University Medical Center, where she was the chief resident.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Yanni loves spending time with her husband and 2 ½-year-old son, Alexander. Passionate about learning, Dr. Yanni has been a high school Sunday school teacher for the past decade. Her hobbies include swimming, dancing, playing tennis, and attending musicals.
Yelena Y. Sergeyeva, MD
I joined Kaiser Permanente in 2006. I am very excited to be your primary care physician at Kaiser Permanente. I love to explore new places with my husband and our two daughters. I enjoy going to the theater and visiting museums. My practice philosophy is to help patients understand their medical problems so that they can actively participate in their treatment, and hopefully prevent health problems in the future. My areas of interest include all adult health problems and the prevention of disease.
To maintain my inner Zen, I strive to balance my spiritual life, work, and family. I cherish my time with family and friends. I like to hike and run to keep my brain fresh and sane. And for relaxation, all I need is a great book to read. I wish everyone a healthy body, a happy mind, and a peaceful soul.
Ricardo Jorge Noceda, MD
I was born in Havana, Cuba, and my family immigrated to the United States shortly after the revolution in 1961. My family is proud to be American and Cuban. We have proudly assimilated into this great country and culture, but we’ve also held onto our cultural roots, heritage, language, and food. I speak fluent Spanish as well as English. My parents were a great influence in my choosing to become a doctor. At a young age, I was taught the profound value of helping others. That, combined with my interest in the sciences, made becoming a doctor the right choice for me. I have two wonderful, college-age children. I am a board-certified internist and I’ve been working with Kaiser Permanente for over 25 years. I practice in south Orange County at the Kaiser Permanente Aliso Viejo Medical Offices.
I enjoy daily exercise, time with my family, and the outdoors. I try to eat well, and enjoy trying different restaurants. I also play the guitar—both acoustic and electric.
Dr. Susan M Dindot, MD
Dr. Dindot completed both her medical degree and residency from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Prior to that, she attended Southwestern University in Texas, graduating Cum Laude in Biology and Chemistry, with honors for her research project, and member of the distinguished Alpha Omega Honor Society. After graduation, she practiced internal medicine in Texas for two years, before moving to California and re-establishing her practice in Southern California.
Dr. Dindot feels strongly that a patient’s health is a combined effort between the doctor and the patient. She views herself as a partner with her patients to optimize their health. Every individual is unique, and it’s by listening attentively and taking an individualized approach with each patient that I can best evaluate and treat the issue at hand. The patient must also play an important role in the decision making process, as she respects that every individual has their own goals. She greatly enjoy the complexity of internal medicine, the constant advances, and bringing all of these things into my practice for the benefit of her patients.
